Meeting with Municipal Representatives on Water Supply Project Implementation

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Vladimir Joković participated, at the invitation of the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development Damjan Ćulafić, in a meeting with representatives of municipalities that proposed projects within the Water Supply and Climate Change Adaptation Project, together with Minister of Finance Novica Vuković. The meeting discussed the next steps in project implementation, aimed at improving water infrastructure and increasing Montenegro's resilience to climate change. It was concluded that close coordination among all relevant institutions and local governments is necessary to ensure quality and timely preparation and realization of the proposed projects. Minister Joković emphasized that high-quality project preparation and readiness for implementation in a short period are crucial to adhere to procedures and ensure efficient use of available funds. "It is important that we are all prepared, that projects are well-prepared, and that they are implemented within the planned deadlines. Our joint goal must be to utilize resources in the best way and to see tangible results as soon as possible, primarily benefiting farmers and citizens," Joković stated.
