Ibrahimović with Lotom: G2G agreement an important step towards concrete results of the strategic partnership between Montenegro and the USA

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, met today in Bled with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western, Central, and Southern Europe at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Daniel Loten. Ibrahimović expressed satisfaction with the intensity of political dialogue with the United States, emphasizing that the USA is one of Montenegro's most important strategic partners and allies, sharing a strong commitment to peace, stability, and security. He highlighted the significance of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the Implementation of Strategic Projects (G2G), which came into force on the 13th. It was jointly assessed that this agreement opens space for stronger connections between Montenegro and the USA and provides a framework for implementing concrete projects and new investments. 'We want to further strengthen our strong political and alliance relations through greater presence of American companies and the realization of projects important for Montenegro's development,' Ibrahimović stated. The interlocutors confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation and further improve Montenegro-USA relations, with a shared assessment that the current level of partnership provides a solid foundation for its deepening and more concrete results.
