Montenegro in June welcomes over 390,000 tourists

According to MONSTAT data, in June, Montenegro hosted over 390,000 tourists across all types of accommodation, achieving more than 2.1 million overnight stays. This clearly indicates growing interest in Montenegro, an expanding tourist season, and the country's increasing appeal to visitors from a wider range of markets. In addition to traditionally important guests from the region, the highest number of overnight stays came from the UK, Poland, Ukraine, Israel, France, and Germany. We expect the season to meet our expectations and believe that all conditions are in place for Montenegro to have one of its best tourist seasons to date. It is especially important that the season is lasting longer, as confirmed by hoteliers and restaurateurs reporting good occupancy and guest interest even after the main summer months. Our goal is to extend the positive visitor trend, ensure tourism yields results throughout most of the year, and see growth in guest numbers accompanied by higher spending, better offerings, and increased revenue for the tourism industry and Montenegrin citizens.
