Public Call for Nominations of Non-Governmental Organization Representatives to the Working Body
Based on Article 3 of the Regulation on the Selection of Non-Governmental Organization Representatives in the Working Bodies of State Administration Authorities and the Conduct of Public Debate in Preparation of Laws and Strategies (Official Gazette of CG, no. year), the Ministry of Transport invites nominations for a non-governmental organization representative to the working body for drafting the draft law on infrastructure for alternative fuels. The preparation of the draft law aims to ensure a normative framework for implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1804 of the European Parliament and the Council (AFIR) into the legal system of Montenegro. Transposing this regulation ensures compliance with EU standards, provides legal security for investments in infrastructure (such as electric vehicle chargers on main road routes), and establishes foundations for cross-border connectivity. A non-governmental organization representative in the working body can be a person who: has experience in the relevant field and normative regulation; is not a member of a political party, public official, civil servant, or employee. The prescribed form for the NGO representative, along with necessary attachments, should be submitted in writing to the Ministry of Transport at Rimski trg 46, Podgorica, with the note: “Nomination of a non-governmental organization representative to the working body for drafting the draft law on infrastructure for alternative fuels.” The public call form can be downloaded below, noting that in addition to the documented requirements in the form, proof must also be provided that the NGO is not listed in the Criminal Record Register, in accordance with Article 4 of the aforementioned Regulation.
