Sukobin: Arrest of Kosovo Citizen Found with Marijuana
Officers of the Border Police Sector of the Regional Border Police Center "Jug" conducted intensified border controls aimed at combating cross-border crime and found illegal drug marijuana with a Kosovo citizen. Under the order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, the suspect was detained. Yesterday, at the Sukobin border crossing, during an attempt to enter Montenegro, border checks were performed on B.P. (43), a Kosovo citizen driving a Porsche passenger vehicle. A detailed inspection of the vehicle, including the use of a service dog, revealed a large package containing marijuana weighing over 37 grams. Following the prosecutor's order, he was detained on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotics.
