Ibrahimović welcomes French ambassador An-Marie Maske on farewell visit: Montenegro-France strategic partnership continues to strengthen
Minister Ibrahimović thanked Ambassador Maske for her successful tenure in Montenegro, exceptional cooperation, and her personal contribution to further strengthening friendly and partnership relations between the two countries. He emphasized that France is one of Montenegro's key political, economic, and development partners, especially valuing the friendly relationship and continuous Paris support for our country's reform and European path. He particularly highlighted the first official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Montenegro in June, as well as his participation in the EU-Western Balkans Summit, underscoring the importance of intergovernmental agreements signed during the visit. The minister expressed gratitude to Ambassador Maske for her personal engagement in developing the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Development Center (WB3C), whose opening she supported, as well as for her contribution to improving bilateral cooperation in cybersecurity. She especially praised the excellent organization of the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Montenegro, attended by President Macron. The interlocutors assessed that the strong partnership and friendly relations between Montenegro and France will continue to develop in the coming period, based on European values, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity of the Western Balkans and Europe.
