Krapović: The Army is part of the people; our duty is to stand with the citizens of Montenegro
Minister of Defence Dragan Krapović and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, visited members of the Engineering Company of the Support Battalion of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, who, as part of the “Army at Your Doorstep” initiative, are carrying out rehabilitation works on local roads in the Paštrovići area of the Municipality of Budva. Krapović stressed that the initiative is a concrete example of the Army’s support for citizens, particularly in rural areas, where improving road infrastructure significantly contributes to the quality of everyday life. The minister emphasized that the works were carried out in accordance with the needs of the local population, noting that the importance of such activities is measured not by the funds invested, but by the concrete results. “It is precisely such activities that strengthen the connection between the Army and citizens and confirm that helping local communities is one of our priorities,” Krapović said. He thanked the members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro for the high-quality work completed, expressing satisfaction that the “Army at Your Doorstep” initiative had reached Paštrovići as well. The Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro will continue implementing this initiative throughout the country, providing support to local communities in line with available capacities.
