Kiberaizsardzības mācībās “Locked Shields 26” Latvijas un Singapūras apvienotā komanda attīstīs starpvalstu sadarbību krīzes situācijās

In April, the annual international cyber defense training "Locked Shields 26" takes place in Tallinn, Estonia, both in person and online, involving approximately 4,000 participants from 40 countries. Collaboration with our level experts during this year's training will promote mutual experience exchange and strengthen our preparedness and civil-military cooperation mechanisms," says Rolands Heniņš, General Director of the National Cyber Security Centre and Policy Director at the Ministry of Defence - Deputy State Secretary. The participation of the Latvian and Singapore teams in the training is supported by the Ministry of Defence of Latvia, the National Armed Forces, including the National Guard, the Singapore Ministry of Defence, the CERT.LV Cyber Incident Prevention Institution, SIA “Tet”, SIA “LMT”, and NATO Cyber Defence Excellence Centre (NATO CCDCOE). The strategic exercise will gather about 30 participants from involved government agencies – the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CERT.LV, the National Armed Forces, the Crisis Management Centre, the Ministry of Transport, the State Chancellery, and other institutions. "Locked Shields" is one of the largest and most complex cyber defense exercises in the world, where technical experts, strategic communication specialists, lawyers, and national decision-makers are united under a common threat scenario. The "Locked Shields 26" exercise is organized in Tallinn by the NATO Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in cooperation with alliance member states, partner countries, and technology companies.
