Ulcinj Police Sanctioned an Operationally Interesting Person – Vehicle Temporarily Confiscated

Officers of the Ulcinj Security Department conducted intensified traffic control activities last night, focusing on operationally interesting persons and those connected to them. During this action, an operationally interesting person from Bar was sanctioned for overtaking a convoy of vehicles, and his vehicle was temporarily confiscated. Ulcinj police officers stopped an operationally interesting person from Bar, V. (30), driving a Volkswagen Golf VIII with Podgorica license plates, owned by a person from Podgorica, on the Ulcinj–Bar main road. After the check, he was sanctioned for violations of the Road Traffic Safety Law, including illegal overtaking over a continuous line and using a lane designated for oncoming traffic, as well as not having a valid driver's license at the time of control, which he did not present upon request by a police officer. The Ulcinj Security Department officers will continue to carry out intensified controls in the Ulcinj municipality to improve citizens' safety and maintain a favorable security environment.
