Visit to Educational Institutions in Bar
Dr. Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, and Dušan Raičević, Mayor of Bar, with associates, President of the Municipal Assembly Branislav Nenezić, and Deputy Mayor Damir Rašketić, visited educational institutions in the Municipality of Bar today. During the working visit, they toured elementary schools "Jugoslavija" and "Srbija," where reconstruction and adaptation works are underway on gymnasiums, financed from the Bar Municipality budget with over 1.2 million euros, based on a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Municipality of Bar. Thanks to excellent cooperation with the Bar Municipality, numerous infrastructure projects at all levels of education are being implemented, and I believe we can be very satisfied with the quality of projects jointly realized so far, as well as the pace of ongoing projects. The Ministry of Public Works also significantly contributes to project implementation in education, and I owe special thanks to colleague Adžović for exceptional cooperation in creating better conditions for education and the development of our youngest. Raičević emphasized that, after certain administrative adjustments, a satisfactory project pace has been achieved, and it is expected that, already in the first half of next year, students from this region will receive a modern gymnasium after decades of waiting. The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Municipality of Bar will continue working together on activities related to modernizing and improving the quality of educational infrastructure at all levels, so that our youngest have conditions for education that meet the needs of the 21st century.
