AKSK opens applications for the 2026 Regional Cybersecurity Marathon for Girls and Women
Ready to further develop your skills in cybersecurity, face practical challenges, and connect with ambitious girls and women from across the region? The National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK) has opened applications for the Western Balkans Cybersecurity Marathon for Girls & Women 2026, targeting girls and women from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. During the Marathon, participants will engage in interactive training sessions, practical labs, and cybersecurity challenges through a dedicated online platform. The program aims to provide participants with practical experience, strengthen their technical skills, and integrate them into a regional community of young girls and women interested in building a career in cybersecurity. The marathon is open to girls and women aged 16–26 who are students, recent graduates, or at the early stages of their careers in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications, or related fields. This is the second edition of the Marathon, an initiative launched by AKSK in 2025 focused on empowering and including young girls and women in cybersecurity.
