Police officers of the Regional Security Center "South" – Tivat and Ulcinj security departments conducted a regional action "Motorcycle" aimed at improving motorcycle safety on the roads, controlling compliance with legal regulations by drivers, and reducing the number of traffic accidents with the most serious consequences. Security officers from the Tivat Security Department checked 25 motorcycle drivers during the action, sanctioning 16 for violations. A judge for misdemeanors sentenced one to 10 days in prison and issued a three-month driving ban for this category of vehicles. Ulcinj Security Department officers checked 45 motorcycle drivers, issuing 35 violation tickets and submitting six requests to initiate misdemeanor proceedings. The violator committed multiple violations of the Road Traffic Safety Law, including driving an unregistered vehicle with foreign plates and without the appropriate license, failing to adhere to traffic signals, driving in a restricted zone, and lacking proper documents. The vehicle was temporarily removed from traffic for technical inspection and other checks, after which legal measures will be taken regarding customs violations.
