Šahmanović introduced the ambassador to the reforms Montenegro has implemented in the energy sector, emphasizing that the country has significantly improved its legislative framework and aligned it with European standards, creating conditions for investors comparable to those in EU member states. Denmark is recognized as one of the global leaders in green energy, especially in wind energy utilization and the application of innovative technologies that contribute to reducing emissions and increasing energy efficiency. The meeting also discussed possibilities for connecting Montenegro's energy sector with Danish companies developing the latest technologies in renewable energy, energy storage, and smart energy systems. Šahmanović concluded that Montenegro continues to work on attracting renowned international partners and investments that will contribute to the modernization of the energy sector, opening new development opportunities, and achieving green transition goals.
