The Cybersecurity Act's Reporting Requirements for Manufacturers Come into Force

In September, manufacturers are required to report vulnerabilities and serious incidents affecting products with digital elements sold in the European Union market. Information is available on the NKDC website: https://www.cyber.gov.lv/lv/zinas/speka-stajas-pienakums-razotajiem-zinot-par-ievainojamibam-un-nopietniem-incidentiem-kas. More detailed information on reporting legal requirements, guidelines for report submitters, and answers to frequently asked questions are published on the European Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA) website: https://www.enisa.europa.eu/news/the-cra-single-reporting-platform-is-launched. Report submission and processing are conducted through the unified reporting platform (SRP): https://portal.cra-srp.enisa.europa.eu/. In Latvia, the processing of SRP reports is carried out by the Cyber Incident Prevention Institution CERT.LV. If technical issues prevent report submission via the SRP platform, reports should be sent to CERT.LV via email at cert@cert.lv.
