AKSK: 14.6 million cyber attack attempts against information infrastructures in the first half of 2026 - During the first half of 2026, from January to June, a total of 14,628,595 cyber attack attempts against the Albanian cyber ecosystem infrastructures were recorded. This number corresponds to approximately 56.4 attempts per minute. Of the total, 54% of the attempts targeted important information infrastructures, while 46% targeted critical information infrastructures. The attempts aimed at various sectors, including the financial sector, public administration, digital infrastructure, the energy sector, and other important sectors. The National Authority for Cybersecurity continues to monitor threats and strengthen protective measures to increase the resilience and security of the country's information infrastructures.
