Spajić and Koopman to Open Investment Conference in Herceg Novi Tomorrow

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, will open the second European Union–Montenegro Investment Conference (AIM 2026), to be held on the 20th. The conference is focused on improving the investment climate, strengthening economic cooperation with the European Union, and presenting Montenegro’s strategic development potential. It will bring together senior government officials, representatives of European institutions, international financial organisations, leading companies, investment funds, and the business community. The two-day programme will feature thematic panels, investment project presentations, and bilateral meetings, focusing on opportunities to attract new investment, improve infrastructure, advance the energy transition, and promote digitalisation, innovation, and sustainable economic development. The conference is taking place at a significant stage in Montenegro’s European integration and represents an additional opportunity to promote the country as a reliable and competitive investment destination, strengthen international cooperation, and link development priorities with concrete investment opportunities. Detailed programme information is available on the conference’s official website: https://aimconference2026.org/.
