Strengthening the Professional Capacities of Public Administration for the EU Accession Process

Organized by the Regional School for Public Administration (ReSPA), a representative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, Milena Šofranac, participated in the certified program "EU Affairs Summer Programme for Junior Professionals" held in Belgrade. The program brought together young experts and government representatives from the Western Balkans, Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine, focusing on practical needs common to countries involved in the EU enlargement process. Through interactive sessions, topics such as the EU accession process, EU institutions and law, legislative alignment, accession negotiations, political communication, and stakeholder relations were covered. The three-day program provided participants with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and practical skills relevant to European integration work, exchange experiences with colleagues from the region and beyond, and establish new professional contacts. Participation in the program contributed to further strengthening the professional capacities of public administration representatives and fostering regional cooperation.
