Turkish Citizen Detained at Tivat Airport Requested by NCB Interpol Visbaden; Montenegrin Man Arrested in Germany Requested by NCB Interpol Podgorica
Border police officers at Tivat Airport detained a Turkish citizen, S.K. (45), who is wanted internationally by NCB Interpol Visbaden for involvement in a criminal case in Germany related to attempted extortion with a firearm, punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Additionally, German authorities arrested M.K. (56) from Cetinje, wanted by NCB Interpol Podgorica for serving a prison sentence of three years and four months for accepting bribes, which he committed in 2016 in cooperation with a former Ministry of Interior employee involved in illegal issuance of Montenegrin citizenship documents for personal gain.
