Interpol: Dutch police have detained a high-risk organized crime group member wanted by NCB Interpol Podgorica

Officers of the Royal Netherlands Police, acting on an international warrant issued by NCB Interpol Podgorica, have detained a member of a high-risk organized crime group, F.Z (37), a Montenegrin citizen previously known as K, who is wanted by NCB Interpol Podgorica with an international red notice. This member of the crime group from Montenegro is wanted under an order from the Higher Court in Podgorica for his arrest and extradition to the Special State Prosecutor's Office to face criminal proceedings for suspected involvement in creating a criminal organization and two crimes related to unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics under the Criminal Code of Montenegro. It is suspected that, along with several other accused persons, he participated in international cocaine smuggling as a member of a criminal organization operating in Montenegro and multiple countries. He is expected to be extradited to Montenegro after serving a prison sentence in the Netherlands for a crime committed there. He has been placed in detention at a correctional facility in North Holland, following a conviction in that country. Montenegrin police authorities continue communication with relevant entities to execute the order from the Higher Court in Podgorica regarding this individual.
