NCB Interpol Podgorica: Person deprived of liberty who is internationally wanted by the Republic of Serbia and Greece for multiple serious criminal offenses
In cooperation with officers of the Podgorica Police Department, after leaving the Directorate for Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) Podgorica, following serving a three-year prison sentence, B.G. (30), a citizen of Serbia and Montenegro, was detained. Based on international warrants issued by NCB Interpol Belgrade and NCB Interpol Athens, to secure his presence in criminal proceedings against him in these two countries. He is suspected of committing criminal association and serious murder, as prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Serbia, while in Greece, criminal proceedings are underway against him for suspected crimes of forming and membership in a criminal organization, aiding and abetting murder with intent committed in a series, attempted murder, and use of forged documents, as prescribed by the Criminal Code of Greece. The investigation judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica will refer the case to further jurisdiction within the legal deadline.
