Krapović: The Army of Montenegro Receives Modern Weapons and Advanced Training Systems
Montenegro's Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović and the Chief of the General Staff of the Montenegrin Army Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović attended today the presentation of new infantry weapons from the Czech company Zbrojovka, which are being introduced into the Army of Montenegro and the virtual training system "Guradiaris." We are presenting two vehicle simulators for JLTVs being introduced in Danilovgrad, as well as the first contingent of modern small arms and accompanying equipment arriving from the Czech Republic. The Minister emphasized that planned equipment renewal is an important part of enhancing the Army's capabilities, considering the age of a significant portion of existing small arms, maintenance requirements, and the needs of modern operations. It will enable vehicle crews to systematically train on vehicle handling procedures, tactical maneuvers, crew coordination, and repeatable scenarios in a safe and controlled environment," said Krapović. He also pointed out the economic value of such training, which allows some initial and repeated training to be conducted without the constant use of operational vehicles, thereby reducing fuel consumption, labor hours, and equipment wear. In addition to the BREN 3 rifle, other models from this renowned Czech manufacturer, including pistols, machine guns, and sniper rifles, were also presented, showcasing a broader segment of new small arms available to the members of the Montenegrin Army.
