Controls of hospitality establishments and operationally interesting persons in Budva: Marijuana and cocaine seized, two persons arrested

In order to maintain a stable security environment during the tourist season, protect citizens and tourists, as well as suppress all forms of crime, officers of the Budva Security Department carried out planned activities focused on targeted control of operationally interesting persons and hospitality establishments, including beach bars in the Budva area. During these controls, five hospitality establishments were checked, with 65 persons inspected, three of whom were operationally interesting. During the activities, two persons were detained, and three persons were reported for drug abuse. A person from Kragujevac, residing in Budva, was found with approximately 200 grams of marijuana, seven packages of cocaine, a precision scale, and 1,320 euros in cash, suspected to be proceeds from drug sales. He was detained by order of the public prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics. Due to violations of Article 52 of the Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse, N.Dž. was detained, while V.F. was also involved.
