Border Police Detains Indian and Russian Citizens for Suspected Document Forgery
Border police officers, upon orders from prosecutors, detained two individuals suspected of committing document forgery. Officers detained an Indian citizen attempting to enter Montenegro using a forged driver's license. At the Sukobin – Murićani border crossing, officers checked A.A.S.M. (25), an Indian national driving a foreign-registered Dacia Sandero. Additionally, at the Dobrakovo border crossing, officers inspected D.Č. (22), a Russian citizen driving a foreign-registered Audi A3. During document verification, in cooperation with Frontex officers, suspicions arose that the international driver's license presented did not match the original. Statements were taken from the individuals, and the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje was notified, confirming the suspicion of document forgery.
