Authorities have not uncovered foreign state influence activity related to the 2026 parliamentary election
FE (Defense Intelligence Service), PET (Police Intelligence Service), and SAMSIK (Agency for Social Security) have monitored whether foreign states and their intelligence agencies have attempted to influence public debate and political decision-making processes leading up to and during the parliamentary election on March 2026. During the election period, various interactions and political decisions were observed involving foreign actors, including Russian digital content and misinformation campaigns aimed at Danish politicians. The agencies also noted increased disinformation about Greenland and the Danish Realm, especially Greenland, during this time.
