European Day of Languages Celebrated in Educational Institutions Across Montenegro

In September, numerous creative and educational activities dedicated to promoting multilingualism and linguistic and cultural diversity were held in preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools across Montenegro. The activities were organized at the initiative of the Association of Foreign Language Teachers of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Institute for Education. Under this year’s slogan, “Languages Unite,” children and students highlighted the importance of language learning, mutual understanding, tolerance, and respect for diversity through language workshops, quizzes, presentations, songs, games, and other creative activities. A report on the activities is available on the website of the Association of Foreign Language Teachers of Montenegro – ELTAM. The website of the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe, which coordinates the celebration at the European level, promoted a total of 23 events from Montenegro. More information about the activities is available in the report of the coordinator of the European Day of Languages celebrations.
