Police Officers of OB Budva Intensively Work on Clarifying Armed Robbery; Stolen Money from Safe – Store Manager and Two Employees Not Injured – No Contact Between Them and Perpetrators

Officers of the Security Department of Budva are undertaking intensive measures and actions to clarify the criminal act of armed robbery, which was committed late last night at the "Megamarket" in Budva. The on-duty service of the Security Department of Budva was informed around 10:40 PM that a robbery had occurred at the "Megamarket" and that the persons who stole the money had left the scene. Police officers immediately responded to the scene, and other urgent measures and actions were taken, including securing the immediate and wider area and conducting searches. Police measures indicate suspicion that three unknown male individuals, masked, entered the "Megamarket" office around 10:40 PM, where a female employee, the store manager, and two male employees not involved in security were present. The perpetrators, armed with a pistol held by one of them (whether real or fake will be determined), threatened the female manager and demanded money from the safe, which she handed over. Officers of the Security Department of Budva, in coordination and upon the order of the higher public prosecutor's office in Podgorica, are undertaking all necessary and coordinated operational and tactical measures to clarify the event, identify the perpetrators, locate them, and arrest them.
