In 2026, the UN Security Council Committee, established in accordance with Resolution 1988 (2011), adopted amendments—marked by strikethroughs and/or underlining—to five names on its sanctions list concerning individuals and entities subject to asset freezes, travel bans, and arms embargoes, as specified in paragraph 1 of Security Council Resolution 2816 (2026). These amendments were adopted in accordance with Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter. The list is regularly updated based on relevant information provided by member states and international and regional organizations. The updated list is available on the UN Security Council sanctions committee website at https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/en/sanctions/1988/materials. The consolidated list of the United Nations Security Council is also updated after each change to the sanctions list and can be accessed at https://main.un.org/securitycouncil/content/un-sc-consolidated-list.
