Improvement of road infrastructure in Bijelo Polje - contract value 280 thousand euros
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Vladimir Joković signed today a contract with the President of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje Petar Smolović, allocating 280,000 euros for the improvement of road infrastructure in rural areas of this municipality. The funds are intended for the repair of priority road routes, specifically the adaptation of asphalt surfaces on several sections within Bijelo Polje. Improving rural infrastructure is one of the priorities of the Ministry, especially in northern Montenegro, where quality road infrastructure is a crucial prerequisite for better living conditions in rural areas, as well as for the development of agriculture and population retention in the countryside. The goal is to facilitate farmers' access to farms and markets through infrastructure investments, improve production conditions, and contribute to more balanced development of rural areas.
