In July, 61 traffic accidents were recorded on Montenegrin roads, with no fatalities. Five people sustained serious injuries, while 27 were lightly injured. Traffic police officers, as part of intensified traffic control activities across the country, filed 232 misdemeanor reports, issued 2,168 citations, temporarily confiscated 29 pairs of license plates, and removed as many vehicles from traffic. Of the total number of drivers deprived of liberty, 41 were detained by officers of the Podgorica Police Department, seven by officers of the Danilovgrad Police Department, six by officers of the Budva Police Department, five by officers of the Kotor Police Department, and four by officers of the Bijelo Polje Police Department.
