New Fund: 5.5 Million DKK for Innovative Solutions to Cyber Threats

Therefore, the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity (NCC-DK) is opening a grant pool to promote the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions that contribute to a strong and competitive Danish cybersecurity industry today. It is important that we in Europe put extra effort into developing our own technologies and concrete solutions for both hardware and software so that we can better withstand the serious cyber threats we see examples of daily. The fund emphasizes projects where solutions not only strengthen individual companies' security but also have the potential to elevate cybersecurity in a specific sector or segment, such as SMEs or OT-heavy companies. The fund aims to strengthen collaboration between developers, end-users of cybersecurity solutions, and other relevant actors to create practical and usable tools and build cybersecurity capacity. The grant pool is managed by the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity, funded by both national and EU funds. As part of this strategy, National Coordination Centers for Cybersecurity were established in all EU countries in 2021 to strengthen and build pan-European capacity in cybersecurity, improve competitiveness, and support innovation collaborations within cybersecurity in the EU.
