Workshop “Defining the Strategic Framework LDS”
Organized by the Network for Rural Development of Montenegro, a workshop titled “Defining the Strategic Framework LDS” was held in Herceg Novi. It was intended for representatives of the public, private, and civil sectors, as well as members of the LAG Luštica-Orjen Board. The workshop was part of the project “Supporting the Creation of Preconditions for the Establishment of the LEADER Approach in Montenegro,” financed by FAO, and led by expert Matija Zamljačanec, manager of the Izvor LAG from Croatia. During the workshop, special attention was given to identifying priority needs, strategic goals, and measures that can address recognized challenges and contribute to the sustainable development of the LAG Luštica-Orjen area. The participants also discussed linking these into a clear and shared development vision. The goal was to align the basic elements for drafting the Local Development Strategy (LDS) based on the needs, priorities, and potentials of the LAG Luštica-Orjen territory through joint work and exchange of opinions. Attendees included representatives of local authorities, Dipl. Ing. Mileva Marić from the Directorate for Advisory Services in Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, as well as representatives from the civil and private sectors.
