Arrested Serbian Citizen Wanted Internationally by NCB INTERPOL Belgrade for Unlawful Production and Distribution of Narcotics

Officers from the Search and International Wanted Persons Group – FAST team of NCB Interpol Podgorica, in cooperation with officers from the Regional Security Center 'Jug', Bar Security Department, yesterday, in the municipality of Bar, located and detained a Serbian citizen, R.O. (37), who was subject to an international arrest warrant issued by NCB INTERPOL Belgrade for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unlawful production and distribution of narcotics. Checks through NCB Interpol Podgorica confirmed that the individual is wanted based on an international warrant issued by NCB Interpol Belgrade to ensure his presence in a criminal proceeding against him before the Higher Court in Belgrade, due to suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unlawful production and distribution of narcotics. NCB Interpol Podgorica will continue communication with NCB Interpol Belgrade to undertake activities for the extradition of this person to the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia. The individual was, within the legal deadline, handed over to the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica for further jurisdiction.
