Call for Round Table on Draft Law on Inland Navigation

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs invites all interested legal and natural persons, representatives of government bodies and local self-government, industry, professional associations, non-governmental organizations, the academic community, and all other interested parties to participate in a round table dedicated to the Draft Law on Inland Navigation. Dr. Damir Zec, who was directly involved in drafting the text, will participate in shaping it. In addition to reviewing key solutions, Professor Zec will share his experiences gained in the process of aligning national legislation with European regulations in the field of inland navigation. This regulation governs inland navigation and its safety, vessel navigability, obtaining licenses for crew members' professional competence, and other relevant issues. The round table provides an opportunity for open dialogue with experts and the broader public to further improve the quality and applicability of the proposed text. We invite all interested parties to contribute to the further improvement of the Draft Law through their presence, questions, and suggestions before it proceeds to the next procedural steps.
