Vice President Koprivica laid a wreath at Vučje Dola

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Vučje Dola, Deputy Prime Minister for the political system, judiciary, and anti-corruption Momo Koprivica laid a wreath at the memorial to honor the brave heroes of this historic victory, paying tribute to their courage, sacrifice, and lasting contribution to the freedom and sovereignty of Montenegro. This great victory was not only a military success but also further strengthened the foundations of Montenegrin statehood, enhanced its international position, and confirmed the unwavering determination of the people to defend their freedom and the right to independent development. Its legacy still testifies that unity, responsibility, and dedication to the common good are values that enable overcoming even the greatest challenges. It is equally important to remember the words of Prince Nikola spoken before the battle: "In Montenegro, the law will be one and the same for all." This message was not only a call for unity in decisive moments of the fight for freedom but also an expression of the vision of a state founded on justice, equality, and the rule of law – values that remain a lasting obligation for modern Montenegro. Marking this significant jubilee – 150 years since the Battle of Vučje Dola – we pay tribute to all who have written the most glorious pages of our history with their deeds. Their sacrifice and patriotism oblige us to preserve freedom, nurture the culture of remembrance, and continue building Montenegro as a democratic, just, and prosperous country for the benefit of all its citizens.
