Prime Minister Spajić congratulates Plevina Municipality Day

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Milojko Spajić, congratulated the citizens and leadership of Plevina on the 4th. "Proud of our free tradition and the lofty sacrifices of our ancestors, and responsible to future generations, the citizens of Plevina and the entire Piva region sincerely dedicate themselves to universal values, a clear development vision, and proactive efforts, contributing significantly to the overall social and economic development of Montenegro," Spajić emphasized in his congratulatory message. He noted that Plevina, although among the smaller municipalities by population, possesses exceptional natural resources and exemplifies how stronger and strategic local economic connections can create a meaningful and authentic tourist product. The record visitation this year confirms that Plevina is recognized as an excellent mountain, rural, and ethno-tourist destination. He especially highlighted that hospitality and warmth of the hosts, along with the responsible attitude of the local community towards the natural, cultural, and spiritual values of Piva, form a solid foundation for sustainable development and green policies. "The completion of the demanding reconstruction of the Plevina – Nikšić main road represents an important infrastructural step, but also part of a comprehensive investment cycle that improves connectivity across Montenegro," said Prime Minister Spajić, adding that improving transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure creates conditions for stronger development of the northern region, full utilization of its potentials, and more balanced regional development for the benefit of all citizens of our country. "Sharing with you the joy of the holiday and the satisfaction of increasing visitors from Europe and around the world, who gladly return to Plevina, I am confident that Plevina will continue to be an example of successful and sustainable development in the years to come," concluded the Prime Minister.
